Toyota Visual Identity

Created while working at Greenspace

I lead the prime design stages of the new visual identity for Toyota Europe, including the design of a unique and bespoke typeface. Colours, photography styles and textures were developed to clearly differentiate between six model groups. A system for logo positioning, typography and the use of an opaque band was then created to link all the elements together. The new visual identity is currently being introduced across 28 countries in Europe with the potential to be adopted globally.

Amongst many other smaller projects for Toyota Europe I created identity elements and materials for the launch of the iQ model and concepts for the Toyota Optimal Drive mark.
